Just started your Journey

First and foremost welcome aboad!

I’m really happy that you’ve decided to learn Danish. That in fact makes you quite rare – very few people speak Danish so it’s a bit like a secret society.

If you’re anything like me you’re probably both a bit nervous and super excited to get started. I really love the start of a new language journey, but it can also be a bit overwhelming: Where do I start? What do I study? Should I take classes or find stuff on the internet or maybe search for an app.

Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of material out there helping you to learn Danish and even less helping you navigate when to do which parts.

I hope to solve that issue with this website and both create good, quality content and help give you an overview over what to do when in your Danish journey.

As I’ve only gotten started on this project, I can’t present too much material yet, but I’ll continue to make various learning material. This will both include text lessons with new vocabulary or grammar, videos explaining pronounciation and techniques for learning faster and improving memory.

To get you started well on your journey, I’ve written an Introduction to Danish where I explain a lot of the features of Danish, hopefully making it more accessible to you.

And maybe you’re wondering how long it will take to learn Danish.

But the most important thing is knowing where to start when learning Danish.

Subscribe to my newsletter, and you’ll be the first to know when I’ve released new material (also, you get a free video course in the pronuciation of ÆØÅ):
